At the bottom of the window, Control+click (or right-click) the tab of the sheet you want to delete.
Choose Delete
In the menu that appears, click Delete.

Excel asks you to confirm because the sheet cannot be recovered. Click Delete to finish.
When Delete is grayed out
Workbook structure is protected
Go to the Review tab → Unprotect Workbook. Enter the password if asked, then try Delete again. See the Unprotect Guide.
